Do you work with clients who are not sure where to start?

Yes. Many of our clients come to us with ideas rather than finished plans. We are happy to have early conversations to help bring clarity, talk through options and explain what the next steps might look like.

Extensions & Renovations
We are based in Windlesham, Surrey and work across Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire and South West London. Our core service areas include Windlesham, Ascot, Virginia Water and Sunningdale.
Are you fully insured?

Yes. Bear Carpentry and Construction is fully insured, and all work is carried out in line with current building regulations.
Do you manage the whole project?

Yes. We offer full project management, coordinating trades, managing timelines and overseeing quality from start to finish. You will have a clear point of contact throughout the build.
We work closely with architects and planning consultants and can support you through the planning process where required, including advising on when planning permission may or may not be needed.
Yes. Many of our extension and renovation projects are completed while clients remain in their homes. We plan work carefully to minimise disruption and keep the site as safe and organised as possible.

Yes. We regularly work from approved plans and specifications and are also happy to support earlier design discussions if plans are still being developed.
Yes. We support clients during design meetings and work closely with architects, designers and consultants to ensure designs are practical and buildable.
Yes. As part of our project management service, we manage the sourcing of materials including windows, kitchens, bathrooms, flooring and other key components, using trusted suppliers.
Availability can vary depending on project size and workload. We recommend getting in touch as early as possible to discuss timelines and next steps.
Yes. Following an initial discussion and site visit, we provide a clear and detailed quotation based on your project requirements.

Yes. We deliver complete new build projects, managing everything from groundworks and structural builds through to internal fit-out and final finishes
Yes. Timber frame construction is a core speciality of ours and is often used in our new build projects. We also work with traditional construction methods where required.
